Surgery SIP is over! As usual, am filled with mixed feelings about this - will definitely miss the team and the now familiar routine. But looking forward to sleeping in and having leisurely breakfasts finally! :) Definitely going to return to SGH come next year so shall look forward to that. Made my first ever batch of cupcakes (Nutella!) thanks to ky's guidance for the team :D Had a great afternoon baking with her, thanks ky! Highlight was learning how to break my first egg ever (seriously!) and of course tasting the yummy cupcakes. Going to do a second round during the break positively. Also had a mini celeb for Jess with both our cakes & subsequently spent the evening at Ministry of food (yet another ministry!). Was pleasantly surprised by the range of Japanese veg food: had at least 6/7 decent meal options to choose from; enjoyed the tempura and Sabo noodles eventually.

By the way, never ever marry someone in the medical profession if u can help it for it definitely means endless waiting more times than not for dates/get togethers/even to come home! Jess & me concluded this while waiting for nearly 2 hours for someone to come; it was embarassing hvaing to answer to the waiters at least 5 times! :p
